Matt. 1:21-24. . . “‘She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.’ Now all this took place to fulfill what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet: ‘BEHOLD, THE VIRGIN SHALL BE WITH CHILD AND SHALL BEAR A SON, AND THEY SHALL CALL HIS NAME IMMANUEL,’ which translated means, ‘GOD WITH US.'”
Ah, the christmas story. About God’s christmas gift to the world (John 3:16); The birth of our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ. The story of how God the Father
manifested Himself into human form and came down to live with us and make Himself a sacrifice by dying on
the cross for our sins so that those that make Him their personal Lord & Saviour will not have to perish but have everlasting life.
The abundant life that the Lord promised those who choose to follow Him in John 10:10. So, in closing I would like to thank those of you for reading these devotionals that get divine inspiration from them and I hope you have a very merry christmas and a happy new year. And I also pray that you have accepted the Lord Jesus as your personal Saviour (Romans 10:9-13); thus accepting God’s gift of salvation as His present to you.
