Not necessarily a bad thing. But if you want to make money in the future, you will have to be more entrepreneurial. It’s not as complicated as you think. For example if you want to make $50,000 you would have to make 5-10 times more than that in order for the company to pay you the $50k. If you were self employed you would make less and keep more.

I am a department manager in a grocery store by day that runs $20k a week. I could have a six figure income running 10% of that if I took leap of faith and opened my own store.Maybe someday I will. For now I am content and a truly rich person is one who is content with their lot in life.
