Just the right time

Esther 4:13, 14. . .”Then Mordecai told them to return this answer to Esther, Do not flatter yourself that you shall escape in the king’s palace any more than all the other Jews. For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance shall arise for the Jews from elsewhere, but you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows but that you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this and for this very occasion?”
Now here’s a section of the Word of God I hardly ever read. Esther was a young Jewish girl who was given a high position as Queen during a time when a high ranking official in the King’s court made a petition to the king to wipe out the Jewish people because they obeyed God over the king.

When the king had the former Queen removed for her disobedience to him, he appointed officers to gather all the young maidens so he could select the next Queen. And of course, by the grace of Almighty God, Esther was selected for the position.

Mordecai, the man who raised her, told her not to tell the king that she was Jewish though. So, to sum the story up (since I haven’t finished it yet), Esther was put in a high place by God to free the Jewish people from the order sent out by Haman to wipe them out. Just like Joseph was put in a high position under pharoah to save Egypt from a famine in the land.

Like these people, you’re calling (if you. know God through the Lord Jesus) is to witness to people in your sphere of influence to set them free from their sins by faith in the blood of Jesus.

Also it wasn’t just a coincidence that people like Esther and Joseph were put in powerful positions when there was trouble in the land. Just like it wasn’t a coincidence that the promised Messiah came 2000 years ago to give His life as a ransom for many. The Bible says He came in the fulness of time-at just the right time.
