The funniest scene in TV land that I have ever seen is the episode of the Mary Tyler Moore show which featured the passing of Chuckles the Clown. The famous line of the clown before he passed was:

“A little song, a little dance, a little seltzer down my pants.”

This TV sitcom was one of the shows that inspired me to want to become a journalist. That was before I got sidetracked into a career in good business. Given journalism is organized gossip I may have made a moral choice.

Sadly Mary Tyler Moore passed away in recent years. She is survived by her boss Lou Grant on the show, as well as Betty White to name just a couple. Her previous sitcom, she was married to Dick Van Dyke in his own namesake TV sitcom. He is still alive too.
